China Studies Group
The China Studies Group at Linkedin is an association of scholars and professionals whose
job is to describe and analyze China's development. CSG will initially focus on networking but
will put together conferences and seminars on China. CSG members are university lecturers
and researchers whose research and teaching deal substantially with (contemporary/modern)
China, regardless of discipline; advanced graduate students (beyond the MA level), likewise;
journalists who report from China; researchers in think-tanks and other non-profits with
specialization in China; independent researchers/writers who have published extensively on
China; professionals, such as lawyers, who have a background or practice in China; industry
leaders and analysts who write extensively or speak on China. To join in the group, go to
